Privacy
Your photographs and your privacy.
You are handing us the pictures of a trip and the things you remember about it. Here is exactly what we do with them, and what we don’t.
We use them to make your magazine, and for nothing else
Your photographs and everything you tell us — in the conversation on this site, by email, or with the upload — are used only to make your magazine. We don’t use them as examples, put them in a portfolio, or show them to anyone outside Little Kingfisher.
We delete them within 30 business days
All photographs and personal data are deleted within 30 business days of the order being fulfilled — that is, printed and delivered, or the file handed over. After that we no longer have your pictures, your notes, or the conversation. If you want a reprint later, the Digital edition is the way to keep the file; with the Print edition, ask us and we’ll tell you what’s possible.
Nothing is sold, shown, or used to train anything
We don’t sell your data, we don’t share it with advertisers, and we don’t use your photographs or your words to train any software, ours or anyone else’s.
The one exception: the printer
For the Print edition, the finished PDF is sent to [printing service — Alexander to confirm] to be printed and posted to you. That is the only time your magazine leaves our hands before it reaches yours. With the Digital edition, nothing goes anywhere but to you.
The conversation on this site
What you type into the conversation is stored so we can make your magazine, and so you can close the tab and come back to where you were. It is covered by the same promise: deleted within 30 business days of your order being fulfilled. A conversation that never becomes an order expires on its own within 45 days.
If you want it gone sooner
Write to hello@littlekingfisher.com from the email address you gave us, and we’ll delete your photographs, your notes and your conversation, and confirm when it’s done.
